Do I need a forklift at both ends?
Something has to lift the pallets — the curtain opens the side, it does not unload the lorry. A forklift or a reach truck at each end is the normal arrangement. If one end has neither, say so when you book: it changes how long the drop takes and it changes the quote.
Will the load stay dry?
The curtains are sheeted and the roof is solid, so rain and road dirt stay off palletised stock and packaged goods. It is not a sealed container and it is not refrigerated. Anything that needs either of those is a different job, and it is better told to us up front than discovered at the kerb.
Can a forklift reach the middle of the deck?
That is the whole point of the body. The curtains draw back end to end, so a pallet sitting mid-deck comes off from the kerb instead of being dragged the length of the floor to the tail. On a multi-drop run it is the difference between a twenty-minute stop and an hour of one.
