Will it get down a taman road?
That is the case it exists for. It sets up on a tight lot with a much smaller footprint than a 20-tonne machine, so a single-carriageway estate road with cars parked down one side is workable. Send a photo of the approach and the frontage on WhatsApp and we will tell you before the day rather than on it.
Can I book it for half a day?
Yes — a single lift is quoted as a half day. Roof trusses on one house, a water tank up to roof level, a condenser set onto a bracket: those are half-day jobs. Once there are several set-downs, or the load is not on site when the crane arrives, the day rate is the honest number.
What has to be ready on site?
Level standing for the outriggers, the load already delivered and ready to sling, and enough clear road for the machine to reverse in and set up. On landed housing the things that stop a lift are almost always overhead — cables, awnings, a neighbour’s tree. Flag those when you book.
